I got the best night's sleep last night. Today I got to change the cpm machine to bend my leg to 55 degrees instead of 45. I also started a new exercise in which i sit on the edge of a really high bed or chair and unlock my brace and let my calf fall so my leg bends on its own. Both of these exercises feel amazing! My athlete friends know how good a good, deep stretch feels after a workout and that is exactly how these feel. I still have to keep my ankle on a foam block for 5 minutes 4 times a day and this one really hurts a lot. Thankfully I had visitors (Bobbi!!) for the most recent session so it went by quickly.
Big milestone for me today....I changed my pants by myself. Woo-hoo! I'll be back to running in no time!
